Great location, fantastic service, very nice atmosphere; Clean with good music videos playing. My server, who appreciated the fact that I was struggling to make all of our encounters 100% in Spanish, spoke some English and loved to explain to me what dishes were if I was unfamiliar and add his input on them as well (which is very helpful). This man got me to try Pulpo (octopus) tacos for the first time in my life. And I liked them! Definitely recommend this restaurant to all Mexican food and seafood lovers. BTW If you're a wimp like me and don't like scorching hot salsa, beware of the one I'm pointing at in this picture... it was a doosey!

Huge variety of Seafood! Loved the coconut shrimp and the lobster soup. Service is excellent, even though the place was at full capacity the dishes we ordered were ready quite fast, less than 15 minutes. Air conditioning inside is really nice and lightning decoration quite original.

Great little restaurant located across the street from the Maya Museum and Costco. You will see “Sirloin” out in front. Abulon or abulone tends to be tough when not cooked properly. Villa Ricas melts in your mouth delicious! Jumbo shrimp cocktail was ok but I customized it by adding jumbo shrimps where I should have left it at the small local shrimp standard it would have been better. My fault. Fantastic dessert of “plantanos flameados” or flaming bananas with brandy! Delicious! Villa Rica’s one-of-a-kind fried soft shell crab taco is fantastic! Give it a try along with the small green oysters in “Tigre de leche” or a spicy habanero sauce!

Spicy oysters with a unique habanero sauce “Tigre de Leche” a specialty of the house. Really enjoyed the clean freshness of these small tasty oysters. A delicious almost tartar fish ceviche that was out of this world! Again with the “Leche de Tigre” additional lime and habanero added by me. And a wonderful surprise a fried soft shell crab taco that was on another level! Just eat it as is! Update - had the three fried soft shell crab tacos that are out of this world! A must try! And of course the fresh local small super flavorful green oysters with the “leche de Tigre” habanero sauce. Delicious lunch!

We ordered leche de tigro that was AMAZING!!! I would come back only for that seriously!!! We also ordered a grilled fish made with local spices, it wasnt very tasty but you could tell it was very fresh and overall I would come back , I also really liked those little breads with the cheese inside that they give out to each table.
